Martha Jean is a blog about colour, pattern, design and food. Created by me Ana Nicols. I have a background in visual art and textile design. I love to cook and I like to express my creativity through food. I love to work with my hands and recently have gone back to my roots and started to paint again.

Who is Martha Jean? She is the Granny I never met. I only know her through stories. From those stories comes an image of a beautiful person, who was a little bit cheeky and quite industrious.
